About Objets d’vertu

As a writer of poetry, I am also an avid reader of poetry.  I firmly believe that no matter how much you read, if you aren’t reading poetry — good poetry — you’re starving. While you will find poetry here, you will also find other objets d’interest I have collected along the way I found relevant to us as readers and even writers. You’ll find photography here as well, along with other morsels, from time to time.

In this space and through objets, I share poetry, prose, art, or anything else that inspires or touches me.  I support the arts and artists and do not post any work I cannot attribute. If you, as a writer or photographer, find your work here, and would like it removed, please just let me know.

Life, to me, seems to be about living out loud, loving openly, cherishing what we have, and crafting into what we’d like for it to be — and taking the risk to be happy.

objet de vertu (plural objets de vertu)
An object of particular interest for reasons of history, workmanship etc.

I hope to leave this world a more beautiful place than I found it.

Thank you for taking a look.
My hope is that you visit often.
