The only reason we don’t open our hearts and minds to other people is that they trigger confusion in us that we don’t feel brave enough or sane enough to deal with. To the degree that we look clearly and compassionately at ourselves, we feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else’s eyes. Pema Chodron

You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere.

Is this a brooch? I’d be interested in how much?

  2. From the artist:

    It is 2″ L x 1 3/8″ at the widest point

The stone on the bottom is 7/8 x 7/8, and the face is about 3/4″

The face is carved Tibetan ox bone, and the bottom stone is chrysocolla.

    Just let me know!
